Video Encoding / Ingest
Utilising years of experience TSI state-of-the-art ingest facilities are designed to facilitate all professional broadcast and domestic formats from SD to HD. We have the ability to encode material into any file format using the latest hardware and software.
TSI dedicated operators ‘Material Specialists’ handle all ingest requests. Material Specialists are very experienced and highly skilled in ingest ensuring all content is encoded in the correct format meeting our clients varied technical specifications. All content ingested is entered into TSI MAM system capturing all client specific metadata.
Prior to ingest all material receives a three point check, video and audio line up. Once assets are ingested all material will receive a ‘Spot Check Status’. Only once the material has received a spot check and been approved will the material be allowed to proceed though the workflow process. If content is failed the content will either be re-ingested or brought to the attention of an account manager.
Once all content has passed spot check the content is stored on TSI’s enterprise class storage system. From the storage system the content can then be accessed from any media processing suite within the facility over 4 Gbps backbone.
TSI has the ability to handle requests of ingest from 10 seconds to 50,000 hours.
