TSI Announce Profit in the First Year of Operation - April 2008
Nick Doff – TSI’s MD – was today delighted to announce that the company in its first year of operation made a profit. “We expected to make a significant loss in the first year, due to the large capital expenditure and all of the launch costs of the new TSI Broadcast. Fortunately we hit the ground running and by the time we had the technical operation complete we had clients needing to put serious volume through us. We have a very high quality client list that has been a joy to work for. In many ways, Red Bee’s The Hive is the closest competitive operation. Whilst we may not have had the benefit of being able to spend tens on millions of initially licence payers money setting up TSI, we are also able to transcode to every major codec, have massive storage and Internet backbone connectivity. Our motto is providing services to our clients at the lowest possible prices – “not by cutting corners, but by intelligent use of the latest technology”. We have benefited hugely by coming into the market just behind the bleeding edge!
