TSI Signs Top Up TV - June 2007
After a 5 month refit, TSI Broadcast opens its doors for business. The refit was supervised by ex-TSL Engineer Dave Travis who is TSI's Chief Engineer & Head of Operations. All of the new digital installation is HD ready throughout. Nick Doff the former MD of TSI Plc until 2000 and the new MD of TSI Broadcast has already opened negotiations with many of the new platforms and content owners. They are pleased to announce another launch business with a major player:
Top Up TV are basing a key part of their platform technical infrastructure in Grape Street with TSI. They are placing a Conditional Access System and their Test Farm. And as such is a real vote of confidence in the new TSI from another serious player and the first platform project. The Test Farm will be checking on all of the software developments for the linear and also the "Anytime" service and ensuring that all current and planned boxes certificating these for the platform. Top Up TV provide all conditional Access services for the Freeview platform.
