Channel Playout
TSI offers two play out solutions
Firstly using ‘The Vault’ ingest functionality we ingest your content as it becomes available onto our local servers, this along with new schedules and graphics are fed to remote servers at an uplink or Multiplexing site. We have arrangements with most of the main providers to house our servers in their secure environments. This service combines economy with resilience and is ideal for most services that don't require manual intervention.
Secondly TSI’s current infrastructure allows for up to 12 channels to be played out and monitored simultaneously in a more traditional broadcast setting that allows a greater degree of monitoring and manual intervention.
The requirements of channel owners vary hugely, TSI can handle anything up to the most complicated channel requiring live ingest, commercial and promotional content being fed onto a multitude of delivery platforms such as Sky, Virgin Television, Freeview, BT Vision, Top-Up TV mobile operators and IP TV and web sites, to the simplest.
