Simon is a great way to introduce yourself to TSI from a technology perspective or indeed if - like many - you are already a contact of his. Simon’s extensive knowledge of cutting edge broadcast technology make him an ideal CTO for TSI.
He oversees technical standards and innovation and provides us with strategic direction. Simon is a highly respected broadcast professional, having held key roles at the BBC, BSB, ITV, Showtime and currently at Top Up TV where, as Chief Technology Officer, he recently planned and launched the new “Top Up TV Anytime” push-VoD platform.
Simon’s specialisation is in the area of developing, launching and operating cutting edge, low-cost services and technology operations, including the BBC’s “World Service” TV services in 1994 where he was Managing Editor and Granada’s GSkyB channels in 1996 as Director of Broadcasting. Simon recently completed the installation of a fully tapeless TV network for Showtime in Dubai.. Simon lives in Berkshire with his family.
